"We stopped in Pintlala for a rest stop and were hungry for lunch. None of the regular options sounded exciting - Subway, Hardee's, etc. - so my husband Googled local places to eat and found THIS gem!! About 9 Miles South of Pintlala, immediately off of I-65. Good home-cooked food, very friendly proprietors, great recommendations! With lunch specials and Surf and Turf on Friday nights, we are sad we are just passing through!! They even cater! The restaurant is inside the Mid-State Stockyard building. Don't miss it!!"
"Good place for a quick bite. Love the ham and cheese sandwich. Good BBQ. Blackened Red Snapper is good when they have it on Friday nights. Good service and good people. Their homemade dressings are really good. They have good steaks on Friday nights. Great onion rings."
