"Another hidden gem, Mary McCann Park is a great place for birders and nature lovers alike. It has a few nice trails, a teaching gazebo, and a chimney swift tower, so cool! The prairie environment in the center is a great place to look for sparrows, goldfinches, and flycatchers. Highly recommend visiting!"

"A beautiful little township park. The park offers a nice walk through forests - very colorful this time of year, as well as open prairie and some small water features that attract ducks and geese. It has nice improvements provided by local scouts and is well maintained. The only slight downside is the entrance/parking location off Warner Road can feel dark and remote - I don’t mind but some may not feel safe. A nice place to walk and enjoy nature."

"Good little park. You walk through the woods to get to a prarie. The woods have bridges over the wet spots built by Eagle Scouts, and the prarie usually has bird boxes holding observational nests from nearby schools."

"A true hidden gem. In mid to late summer the meadow is full of beautiful flowers and butterflies. A great place to enjoy nature. The meadow is a short walk through some woods adjacent to parking area."
