"I've never felt so sorry for store employees in my life. They are absolutely not the problem wtih this store whatsoever. They are victims of a company that does not care about its stores after they're open. The air conditioner was out for over a month last summer. The card reader has been broken for two months, so everyone has to use the self-checkout unless they have cash. You can't get milk or creamer there anymore because a whole line of freezers don't function. Stuff happens, sure, but its uncanny to realize that the company has zero intention of addressing any of these issues."

"I love Dollar General before I a 47 yr. old female got carded for beer!!! Employees should be able to skip that if the have NO doubt that a customer is of age. Will go elsewhere for that type of purchase from now on."
"Went to the store at 8:53 pm to just grab a bag of dog food. Clerk was rude and wouldn't let customers come in. I stated it was not even 8:55 and she rudely said that is what time we close. I told her it was posted that they close and 9 and I would be speaking to somey and she said she did not care. Very bad customer service."
"very understaffed appeared to only be one person attending store however she was very good at her job as cashier she handled the crowd. she has 7 people in line to check out she handled everyone professionally."
