"We camped here over the Xmas break and had the place all to ourselves. We were able to gather all the wood we needed to stay warm from the surrounding woods. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Restroom is a pit toliet but was clean. Has lake access."

"Nice and fairly quiet in the off season, only five sites but they are very spacious and relatively isolated from each other. Get there at 1p to get a spot because even in the off season they go quick! Be aware, the sites can be litter-filled from previous tenants, so you may want to spend some time picking up the site when you get there if you have little ones or pets with you."

"You can camp primitively here. there is an enclosed outhouse. Each camp siye has a picnic table, fire pit & a poke to hang things on. Not many spots. 6 I think."

"Campground has nice spots, but, 2 campers that were on site 1 & 3 did not pay to stay and the one was told to leave from rangers, she started to pack and when they left stopped packing and stayed and partied, next day she put up another tent so she had 2 tents and 2 hammocks set up. The other one paid for one night and no more and drove in and out of campground all night with loud exhausts noise, drinking and loud music and partied with the other woman. They had cars, quad runners and side by sides in and out till after 1am in the morning and fireworks. We paid for 5 nights and stayed 2 and came home. The national forest does have campgrounds that are free and I don't expect people to party all night and not pay and not pay for a spot that could have been used by another camper. Pit toilet had a large amount of flys in it so I sprayed to kill them, on both days I was there another paying camper thanked me for doing that. I will probably not stay at that campground again for those reasons, I think that it is to close to the big cities, since I think the non-payees were locals. Hiking trails were nice."

"Fantastic campground. Very basic no power, no showers, no water and just a public outhouse. Location is secluded and very quiet. Only five sites $10 a night and all of the firewood you can gather. I will definitely return"
