"Nice disc golf park, hikes are relatively short but challenging. Clay is a little slippery, and the last 6 holes are still awaiting tee pads."

"I have a like/dislike thing with Patterson Park, hence the three stars. It's not really much of what most might think of when you think of a park - large grassy fields, playground, etc. It's much more like someone carved a driving loop through untamed woods. However, that's also where much of it's beauty comes from. There's a stream running through that is rocky so it's fun to watch. You can catch crawfish at the banks, lay on the ground by the water and white noise your way into a nap. It looks like they have recently added disc golf goals and some new trees as well. There's a small play area, the bathrooms have an actual building that houses them all, a little bridge over the stream and covered picnic areas. It "rustic beautiful" and that's more of what you should expect out of it's appeal, rather than expecting your common notion of a park."

"A beautiful park, but very rustic. The Rio Grande Creek flows through it. Bathrooms are very dated."

"Edit #2: Very excited to see that they are working on the health of the stream by removing the dam. I really like this park, there is a small trail by the creek and there are 'sites' and picnic tables all over the place. The flooding has done a number on the grass, it's quite soggy but still easily traversable. There is a lot of water access for fishing or to dip your toes in. The trees are mainly sycamore and there's a nice sized open field in the back. I have only visited in the colder months so I can't speak on the foot traffic but it is a little run down and disrespected. I do believe there is some poison ivy there but other than that it's really lovely for photos. Hours of operation are dawn to dusk. Update: The number of woodland native wildflowers is just fantastic. They recently went through and took care of some infected trees. This is probably my favorite park, a real gem. Amenities: Picnic tables Bathroom facility Playground(?) Picnic shelters Large fields Metal grills on each site Free parking Bridge Fishing Free(?) Parking Water access Dogs OK Edit: it's really tragic that a lot of the native wildflowers were mowed down for a disc golf course. Most courses use cement but the pads here are fake grass. Cars are absolutely going to get hit here, setting up holes close to a loop where the entire loop diameter is parking is asking for trouble. This park is way too small for this."

"This is a quiet and somewhat remote little park. It's very nice and clean with a clear and very clean creek running through it. A small man-made waterfall adds to the overall atmosphere, while the sound of water makes a perfect background sound to relax to. I enjoy trout fishing while enjoying natural sounds and scenery. A Frisbee golf course has been recently added. I hope that the new addition doesn't cause it to get trashed!!"
