Reviews
"Great little park, very quiet. However, if you hear a voice from under the picnic tables, make sure you feed it a Cheeto. Otherwise he might get angry........"
"NOT A BEACH, but a nice little park. Our kids loved the playground. Needs a few more benches with shade, but the two they have are nice and the covered pavilion provides good shade too. Public bathrooms and grills on sight which is super convenient."
"So we saw this near our rental and walked over for a beach... 1 star? Playground a 3 to 4 not a bad spot but the sand isn't great according to my kid and it seems to track everywhere. Also and this is the problem with most parks, there is no shade. Lastly there is a short walking path but all this doesn't add up to much. So over all not awful but definitely an ok spot for a quick day at the park."
"Not sure why this is called "Bathing Beach" when it's not a beach and it's a terrible place to swim. You could swim if you really tried, but there are logs and stumps in the water, and it just isn't designed for it. The attached Park is a great place to play and have a picnic, however."
"Beach? I don't know if I would call it a beach. Shoreline, yes. There is a little sand to touch, all under water. The playground and park are great. We came in on boat, not the easiest or best coast for it, but it worked. Water was alright, a little weedy for my family, but it's what you expect in this area. All in all we would go back, but next time will pry just go to lake michigan for a beach and use this as a park that you can wade in the water."
