Silver Lake State Playground

"Parents Beware!!! There is a man in a grey Ford F150 truck that shows up on a regular basis to take photos of your kids on the playground without your permission. When we kindly asked him if he was taking photos of our kids and if so to please stop, he got extremely defensive and angry. His response sent up quite a red flag for us. My advice is to keep your head on a swivel and if you see him taking photos, remove your kids from the playground. You never know what he could be doing with those photos. I attached a photo of the vehicle for your reference."

"Very cool and unique playground right next to the picnic pavilion in Silver Lake State Park. It's probably best for slightly older kids (at least 4-5 years old), as the climbing structure doesn't work easily for super young ones. But it is nicely maintained, has a great soft rubberized surface beneath it, and you can't beat the location right next to the beach!"

"Beautiful, well built the slide was awesome but the hard thing is that this play area it's not made for the little kids it's hard for them my daughter is 2 to climb up the slide its self is a perfect hight when u slide down because the drop isn't too big like at most other parks an the kids fall 2foot into the dirt because the dirt has erode away. I just lifted her up to the slide an she went down I think after some practice she could get more confident an be getter at climbing, also this state park has povlions with grills to cook out bathrooms an it looked like you could also camp an swim there as well very beautiful place"
