"It's a beach. There's not much sand to it just little space and then water. But there are a lot of playgrounds. Biggest negative no place to rinse the sand"
"Perfect beach for my little kids to swim because of how shallow it is even far out by booies. Nice little bike path to ride, bathrooms and a little area to rent kayaks etc They have a floaty blow up station that I was thankful for. Will be visiting repeatedly."

"We loved swimming here with our littles. Nice size sandy beach, even some areas with shade a little further back from the water. A few swings and slide. Parking was good during the morning but quite busy when we left but it was a holiday weekend. The bathrooms were clean and area to get the sand off came in handy. Definitely will be back!"
"One of the best swims in Michigan. Clear water, sandy bottom. Frequent bullhead spawns. (A total non-issue but perhaps the kids will take an interest in all the little fish.) No intrusive weeds or algae."
