"Amazing little stop on our back roads drive. Had to wait a little for the chicken but it was well worth the wait! Fried chicken, tenders, fried okra, biscuits, and peanut butter pie were all delicious and perfectly cooked. Owner stopped by to check on us and she was so sweet and welcoming. It's located in a renovated service station that has seating inside and outside. Definitely a must stop again!"
"Jackson's Chicken was great! We had the COB, with slaw and tots. Everything was freshly made to order. The COB sauce was house-made and tasty. I added the jalapenos on the sandwich which made it even better. The building is old and needs work but the tables and chairs were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful with the menu. The staff told us they were moving to a new location since their current building was needing so much repair. I highly recommend the COB sandwich (chicken on bread). The chicken was juicy and the breading was crunchy. It was perfect!"
"It wasn’t bad, but I don’t get the hype I’ve heard. I had the chicken on a bun with onion rings, and they were okay. The building is not in very good shape; several ceiling tiles are missing or damaged and there are stains on the walls."
