"Love the local vibe of this beach. One of my favorites that I visited off of Lake Michigan so far. And swinging on the beach is one of my favorites so the playground was a plus."

"This is a great beach! There are bathrooms available. The parking lot is not large, but adequate for busy weekends. This is a dog friendly beach and there were several dogs both times we went. There are a lot of rocks in the water, so some type of water shoes are recommended for foot protection. There is a mat type trail to follow down to the beach area that is very nice to walk on and helps to protect the dune grasses."

"We have never been here before, stopped because someone told us to. Extremely impressed with how clean & well taken care of the beach is. Love the wheelchair access. You can tell that the locals are dedicated!"

"For a free beach on the great lakes I wasn't thinking that it would be so pleasant. I was also told that I had come on the busiest weekend of the year. I found that I was able to read/swim/sun-bath without Interruption and I normally get pulled into conversations easily. The amount of upkeep this beach has is amazing for how small the town is. This is truly what most people feel a small Midwest town should be."

"There are pit toilets at the parking lot and a nice path that makes the beach wheel chair accessible. The beach is back in 2021, but it looks like it was probably all under water with a good bit of erosion from the high water levels in 2020. There are plenty of rocks at the shore to pick through and the water was clear and very swimmable. There was a sandbar 20-30 feet out into the water and there were plenty of kids playing in the water between shore and the sandbar. There is more than enough space to spread out on the beach even if al the available parking is full."
