"When Laura Plenge worked there, Taxes Plus was great. She never once made a mistake, yet double-checked her work anyway. When she left, I was assigned Liz Bell, who mistakenly entered that we had received over a million dollars in income from an annuity, so when she was done, I was told we owed a large tax bill. I said, That can’t be right. Always before, our income was so low we got back everything. I told her that, and asked for a recheck. She refused. I took the paperwork home, found the mistake, called, and she still refused to there was a mistake. I told her the page to check, she did, then weakly laughed. I found nothing funny about it. When I picked up the “corrected” paperwork and checked it over, Ms. Bell had left off the annuity income altogether, requiring yet another correction, and another trip to Taxes Plus. I was a bookkeeper and spent the next 4 days downloading tax paperwork and booklets, doing all of the pages of taxes myself to make sure the 3rd time it was correct. My check was returned by Taxes Plus. Have since wondered if I should have posted before, wondering if my taxes and experience was a bad blip or otherwise."
"Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Been going to them for approximately 5 years and have enjoyed them from the start. I see them once a year and Matt remembers me every time. Dropping off my paperwork this year with a mask I was immediately recognized and asked about my mother who has only been to Matt for the first time last year.
