"We are staying at the Foscue Creek Campground near Demopolis. Decided to explore the area and found this terrific spot for lunch. (They also serve dinner 4:30 to 9.) The decor is eclectic, the food is very good and the service is friendly. I was very impressed with the freshness of the vegetables. The okra actually came out of the owners garden. And, if you are hankering for or have never had southern green beans with bacon and new potatoes, this is your place. Also, the bread pudding was from the owner's mother's recipe and it was as good as any I have had at upscale 5 star restaurants. This is worth the stop if you are visiting the area or find yourself passing through. Be sure to walk around the square and check out Bluff Hall."
