"Just now went in there to buy literally one thing before I headed home and there was a very rude and seemingly bitter employee who yelled at me as soon as I walked in and said “hey, we’re closing in a couple minutes” and I looked at my phone to see the time because I was a little taken aback and confused. Time said 7:43 so I asked when they were closing. I guess he thought I asked why because then he got defensive and aggressive and said, “cause I’m by myself” and something else I couldn’t make it so I clarified that I asked “when” and not “why” and his reply to that was 5-10 minutes. I didn’t appreciate the way I was approached cause I didn’t even do anything except come in to buy one quick thing so I just left. Do better. If you’re unhappy then find something else. It’s not my fault that you’re having a bad day. Sounds like some things need to be taken to management, cause it’s not the customers’ fault y’all are short staffed."

"Went to Dollar General on Hwy 119 and out of money and very upset and disappointed. I went in at about 12:05 September 2 to purchase a phone card and other items. Upon leaving the store I realized I I didn't have the card. I wen back in to let the cashier, Susan, know she didn't give me the card. She said it was in my bag. I only had two bag lsd and it wasn't in either. I let her know I paid for something she didn't give me and she brushed me off. Needless to say that was $30 Dollar General has pocketed off of me"
"For a new beautiful store it is pathetic. I have gone 3 different times and days 2 weeks apart. The shelves were so bare and they had all the inventory all over the place so I figured it was stock day and went back the next evening thinking they would have what I need and none of the inventory had been unpacked except the cold items. I ask 1 of the cashiers about it(who was folding t-shirts?) And she said they cant get anyone to work there was only 2 of them. I said isnt that all they usually have? Come on Dollar General pay people more money so they care about their jobs!!!"
