"A nice Indian River "hidden gem". This nature preserve has a parking spot that accommodates about five cars. There are well groomed paths, one which takes you to a viewing area at the lake. There are also less developed paths that were a little confusing to follow. However there is a good scattering of signposts and maps so you don't get lost. Overall this nature preserve was a pleasant spot for a hike away from the hustle and bustle of downtown."

"A short hike, though very beautiful all year round! It's especially nice driving there now that the road is freshly paved! It's been a treat driving that road during the fall color changing, and the hiking trails themselves have been gorgeous. Not too bad if elevation shifts, though there are some inclines at times, if you're cautious about these things. It's not too long of a loop and can easily be done in under an hour, even to the casual walkers!"
