Jackson Hewitt Tax Service

"The lady was great! But I feel as if I got ripped off I have never ever heard or seen anybody paying that much money to get their taxes done and this was my first time getting them done with a service and will never do it again! I was expecting to pay between $300 to $400 not what I did."

"I was highly disappointed with how I did not get my full tax return last year after it was held up in republic Bank and when it was finally released all I got out of my 3,256 return was 1,600 and I never received the 1,200 dollar stimulus package never hit my account but jackson hewitt took fees out from I was told I'm just extremely extremely disappointed with jackson hewitt so I was never told where the rest of money is due to the fact ok that i got a letter back from the irs saying that and quote " WE BELIEVE THERE'S A MISCALCULATION ON YOUR 2020 FORM 1040 WHICH AFFECTS THE FOLLOWING AREA OF YOUR RETURN: RECOVERY CREDIT WE MADE CHANGES TO YOUR RETURN THAT CORRECT THIS ERROR. AS A RESULT YOU ARE DUE A REFUND OF $2,073.18. I was sent that letter August 30,2021 for the tax 2020 so I was never told if I would be refunded thus money or what and they took the fees for my taxes being done instead of me paying for them so now I'm getting a smaller tax return I won't be returning to jackson hewitt for next year taxes"

"Service was excellent. The rep was very efficient. She knew her job and completed my taxes getting me the a great refund. She even when over my 2020 tax returns and was able to amend them and get me a return that was due me. Great job see you next year."

"Daughter went to get taxes done and the lady was rude from the start. She tells my daughter to fill out a form but then tells her I didn't say to come sit down. She had somebody else's personally information spread out on the table. Then when she answered phone while doing her taxes, she was rude to the person on the phone. When my daughter was asking her questions about different things, she was getting mad. We just left without filing because the vibe was awful. If she didn't want to do her job, she should have just stayed home."
