"They now have electricity at some of the campsites. Just wish they had a sewer domp."
"The summer camping is Very busy, but even then it is a beautiful area and the campsites are well maintained and rustic ! Watch for the wildlife and put your food away at night or the racoons and skunks will leave a BIG mess ! "Rustic" , No Electricity so you can admire the night sky !"
"Great hiking, but could have been better marked. Need to add more white diamond markers at transitions and along the way (Hidden Lakes Trail)."

"We always love Franklin Lake! Have been staying here since I was a kid and it is always peaceful and the lake is so clear and sandy! Nice wooded lots for most of them... a lot more private than most campgrounds now days! You will love it and won't be disappointed... unless you need electricity! :)"
