"We waited over an hour for our food, it was cold. We were in a party of 16. The waitress started at one end of the table and called off what entree and s ides she had in her hand. Very inefficient and time consuming. We were there almost 4 hours. Prices were high for what we got, my grilled catfish was not only cold but, way over cooked."
"Hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to in a very long time! From the minute we turned off of the County Road where it's located, we knew it was going to be a great dining experience. From the exterior, as the name suggests, looks just like a hunting lodge. The inside was absolutely stunning! Too many details to list, but you can look at the pictures in this review and see for yourself! Now to the food! I ordered an XL ribeye with a side salad and loaded baked beans, and it was the best tasting steak that I've had at a restaurant! I also added 4 grilled shrimp to my dinner, and they were superb! My wife ordered a dozen grilled shrimp with cole slaw and potato salad and came with hushpuppies, and everything on her plate was amazing! We split a piece of coconut pie, and it was amazing as well! My brother ordered a steak with fries and fried okra, and he said everything was perfect. He ordered a piece of homemade strawberry cake, and it was divine! The staff were super friendly and very courteous! The owner came by after we finished dinner and we learned that the restaurant is family owned and all the desserts and side items are homemade and not from a food truck! If you're looking for a great family owned restaurant that feels like home, look no further than The Lodge Steak and Fish! You won't regret it!!!"
"Great open dining room, rustic with relaxed atmosphere. Hostess was very friendly. Food was really good. Ribeye was great, pork chop very good. Skillet cookie dessert was wonderful. Sausage on app platter was outstanding. Worth the trip."
