Such a sweet and kind gesture! We have been coming to JH for years now & will be back next year too. "Paid $442 in March of 2023 to have our taxes done - not at this specific location, but by Jackson Hewitt, respectively. Wife was getting a return back from either state or federal, but owed in on the other. We were told they would take the return coming in and make payment to the owing. Kind of wondered, but figured the girl helping us would know better than we do, right? Was guaranteed, repeatedly, that it was done - properly - and there would be no issues. Yeah, no. We still owe in, but now with penalties. The "tax prep specialist" was nice, but not $442 nice. I'll just go back to using TurboTax and save myself a couple hundred dollars."
