"Mike has been my mechanic for a couple of the boats I've owned. He's very knowledgeable and gets to the point of what's needs to be done. He even diagnosed a previously unknown issue with a motor I currently own that another mechanic failed to notice. After showing me what the problem was (which in my opinion was flat out incompetence the other mechanic missed it) it was obvious that it needed to be taken care of or I could have been stranded out on the water. He is the only one I trust to work on my boat and will continue to get my business in the future."
"BEWARE!!! Very poor business practices! I brought 2 boats in to have looked at...i was told one was to old to look at, after being told he would look at it.(so waste of time there)..the other was quoted $300 for a starter, $300 for steering cable, $300 for carb work... And then it may need more work?!? I was told i would be better off buying a $1500 motor from him...i felt like getting a second opinion because something didn't seem right...the motor fired right up after taking it out of gear!!! No carb work, no starter needed!!! This is just bad business in my opinion...and i was charged for supposedly looking at my boat?!?!?"
