"BUYERS BEWARE We purchased a hot tub a year ago. When we went in, the owner came right out and sold us the hot tub, but when you call to speak to him, he is never there to answer the phone so they say. We filed a warranty claim on our hot tub cover and they said they filed it, but when we check in every month, they don’t have an answer. It is almost a year later and they still have not got it to us and they can’t answer why it’s not in yet. Every time we call, they say will call you back with know returning call. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING THOUGH HOT TUBS PLUS."

"Purchased a new hot tub in August 2020...9500.oo. Discovered a crack in the foot bowl in June this year (2023). Called right away and spoke to Charlie and sent pics. Sent Dave out to see if it could be repaired or he'd speak to the sales rep of Strong Spa and see what they might do to rectify the situation. David came out on July 6, I paid 195.00 for him to tell me it can be fixed, just needed to order repair kit AND part of the 195.00 would be applied toward the repair. From that day on I got nothing but the run around EVERY time I called. They kept claiming that they could not get a repair kit. On August 11, I finally had enough and called Strong Spa myself. This hot tub is just shy of 3 years old (so I thought) so I was confused as to why a WARRANTY wouldn't have enabled me better service.....until I was enlightened. Found out the jacuzzi I bought NEW was actually 6 ... I repeat SIX years old. Charlie he told me it was refurbed and that's why he gave us such a good deal...REALLY????? I set out to get a NEW hot tub and would NOT have bought a refurbished one...EVER!!!!!Especially for nearly 10000.00 !! Next step is court. I'm done with that crook. BEWARE of HOT TUBS PLUS in White Lake!!!"

"This has been the worst experience ever with this store. Our tub is 1 year old and required a repair under warranty. I reached out to Ray who was my intial installer. He scheduled a repair tech who cancelled. We rescheduled, he came out and said he fixed it but it needed to be cleaned. I agreed to pay him $300 to clean it. He came, "cleaned" it...left it apart and now it says there is a sensor problem and its not working. I have texted no less then 10 times with Ray who now says the company truck caught on fire (even sent me pictures). It has now been a month, he will not respond to me and my hot tub is still not working. To add insult to injury, he actually asked me if I paid the tech for the cleaning when my hot tub was still in pieces and not working. Please, please do not buy anything from this store! Probably time to call my attorney. As you all know, these things are not inexpensive!!!!"

"Our hot tub stopped heating in sub-zero weather and we needed service fast. Hot Tubs Plus sent their service man out to inspect. He is Jeffrey Phillips, maybe. He seems to claim several names, Jeffery Anderson at times. Probably both fake. He said that we needed a new heater. So I paid him in advance for the heater as well as for that days service call. He subsequently blew off TWO following appointments without calling to let me know why or when he would actually be back to install the heater I paid for. So on top of everything else this cost me, I lost two days pay waiting at home for him for no good reason. He surely could have picked up the phone to release me from this unnecessary waiting game but chose to leave me hanging interminably instead. All this time I had space heaters on my tub, hoping it did not freeze up which would destroy it. When he finally did show up to install the heater, I had told him in advance not to wake me up until he had the job done. When he woke me up he told me that I owed $355.00 for that days labor. I trusted it was true and paid him as I had not idea how long he had been working. Later, I checked my security cams and discovered that it took him under 30 minutes. Since when do hot tub techs make $700 per hour? Knowing that this is an unreasonable amount to pay for hot tub service I contacted the store. Charlie the owner of the store, who had previously told me that he had personally trained the technician to work for him, told me that he was not responsible for what I was charged and it was none of his business! Really? So, even though the tech was trained at the store, and sent to me by the store, they claim to be...not responsible? That about sums it up. Avoid!"

"We purchased a refurbished hot tub less then a year ago and have nothing but problems with it the first time it started acting up called to have them service it and day of appointment no one showed up or called when my husband called they said someone called and canceled the appointment which no one did cancel it they returned our call and said their is no warranty for the hot tub and we are to far out and get someone else to fix it. Had a local company come out and find out it is the circuit board going bad and a jet line is completely pinched off and this was at less then 6 months of having this hot tub now a pump has completely fried out and has to be replaced I would use great caution when buying from this company Only good thing I can say for this company is the delivery men where very nice although one of them no longer works there so I guess we where close enough for delivery but not for service even when we would have paid them. very disappointing"
