"I pawned my Xbox and acoustic electric guitar, upon finding the time to get around to my belongings, found an account added to my Xbox;"which was no big deal, It was still functional, so no worries," but the guitar however was missing a bag with new strings in it, and upon speaking with management was told basically there was no way it was removed from their establishment, yet I strongly remembered showing the representative the strings where upon was told the only thing that wouldn't be expected is the amplifier because of surface issues with the box. Management shut the idea down that over the time it was in their custody that it could have been removed and was dismissive to my concerns. I patronized this location for years and only had one other issue that was resolved immediately, but this time the dismissive attitude and basically telling me I was in error is just to much. I hope whoever acquired my strings really enjoy them, and as far as motor city pawn; a rating of one I feel is truly generous considering having a customer for years and losing said repeat customer along with accompanying family, friends, recommendations, etc is a heck of a way to do and lose business..."

"This place has just a little bit of everything. The staff goes above and beyond here for everybody that pawns or goes to buy anything. They pay out the most for stuff and the 3 month loan is easy to understand, they are so good about answering any questions or helping in any way. Even if you need more time as long as you keep communication with the staff they will keep your stuff a little while after. It's a great place for guys and tools, you can pawn just about anything!! Especially jewelry!! Highly recommend!!! These guys rock!!"
