"Was a member for over 2 years. Never missed or had a late payment. Last day of Jan my debit account was hacked and I had thousands of dollars stolen from my account and was left with an overdrafted account on hold until today. My payment automatically comes out on the 1st so this of course declined. I started receiving calls as early as 7am that day. I explained to the first rep my situation even saying over and over I do not want to cancel. They said my account would be flagged, notated and for me to call when my new card came in so we could collect payment (10 days). I got 3 more calls that day and 2 emails. The next day I had 5 calls. Day after that I had 8 in total. Through the hours of 7am-8pm. At that point I called my home location and again explained and asked if there was anything I could do to make these calls stop. He said the account now has been updated and I won't receive anything else until I call with my new card in 7 days. I got a call 15 minutes later. This woman said "I see here the notes on your account from today and was wondering if that card came in?" I lost it. I explained once more to her and said at this point I will be cancelling since no one can read the notes on my account. She replied "I did read the notes actually, I called for the card but have a good day" and hung up. Needless to say an already very stressful time- LA fitness made it 10x worse harassing their client and blatantly admitting to disregarding their account. I won't be back."

"Been a member for over 8 years....consistently deliver a good gym experience. The rebuilt mens sauna is wonderful. Samantha keeps the running smoothly and is very responsive to members concerns. Really every one works hard to provide a pleasant gym experience. Is the gym perfect, of course not...but its well worth the money."

"Had a membership here for a year then finally decided to move on to another gym. This LA is always super crowded in the afternoons, never consistently had all the stair masters working. There was even a time when none of them were even working for 2-3 weeks. Sauna smells really bad. Used it once, never went in again. I’d say that the only plus side is that there is a lot of gym equipment you can use. When it’s crowded though, it really is pointless."
