"I'm leaving a one-star review because I was promised a call regarding the cleaning cost of my thrifted $5 leather jacket, but never received it. Instead, I got a notice that my order was ready, only to find out it would cost $94 to clean. I have a background in customer service and didn't want to show my frustration to the kind employees who served me. While I paid for the jacket cleaning service, I still feel taken advantage of and extremely disappointed. I doubt I'll use them again due to this poor customer service experience."

"I got my moms wedding dress restored after 35+ years of it sitting in a box. Janet Davis did a great job at restoring it from it being very yellowed to shiny bright white. After my wedding, I sent my dress back to be cleaned and preserved. They packaged my dress up in a box and made it extremely easy. Would highly recommend!"

Our wedding planner suggested Janet Davis for this elaborate gown: he hadn’t steered us wrong once—and this was no exception. It was clear that the team at Janet Davis was very experienced in cleaning and caring for wedding gowns. They did not rush and they did a gorgeous job. I was kept in the loop as the job progressed; I was able to come in and inspect the gown before it was boxed up. Today I picked up the carefully packed preservation box, including instructions for storing and what to do if someone wants to open the box to see the gown at some point. The staff is friendly and helpful. If I could give them more than four stars in this review, I would. Your wedding gown is in good hands with Janet Davis!"

"I highly recommend Janet Davis in Berkley. I brought a wedding gown worn by my grandmother in the 1962 and then by my mother in the 1988. I wanted to wear it for my wedding in June. Their expert met me and walked me through the gown, making suggestions. Because it was so delicate, I wore as is and then trusted their team with cleaning and preserving the gown after my wedding for my own future daughter or daughter-to-be. They took such great care. The gown was cleaned without damaging it further and packaged it safely for future use. I'm so grateful!"
