"This park has turned into a homeless hostel. While the homeless here are tame in comparison to the illegal aliens scattered elsewhere throughout the city, it is quite unsightly to see. It is also dangerous considering there are multiple schools within a stones throw, but why would that concern anyone. What I really love is how people always gift them food - that will definitely ensure they do not depart the area anytime soon."

"This used to be a quaint little park that was an oasis on a very bustling stretch of Clark street and a great place to read or have a coffee. Lately, it has been taken over by homeless people who spend all night on the benches, bathe in the fountain, and leave their trash everywhere. Nothing is being done about it and the police are obviously aware of the situation. The saddest thing of all are the dozens of paver's bricks with people's names who donated money to build the park now covered with trash and cigarette butts. 8/1/2023 UPDATE : The bathing in the fountain problem was so bad that the park district just filled it with soil and planted flowers. What a shame, it was so nice to hear the tranquil sounds of the water flowing through the fountain."
