Also the materials they use like doors, door knobs, kitchen cabinets, switches very cheap quality when I compared with friends new houses. ** No handles for kitchen cabinets **. "I bought a condo from MJC companies, me being a first time home buyer and not being experienced in buying a “new construction” property I am going through hell with this company. I closed on the home in March and moved in late April and everything on the inside of my house is built from some of the cheapest material EVER and me and my wife have nothing but issues, I have a crack in my ceiling right next to the tapped wall that was not properly mudded and sanded properly and let’s not even talk about the “builder graded” paint that can easily come off onto my fingers, or how about the wallpaper wood floors they have in my laundry room that is pealing off. Again I am not experienced with dealing with builders and property managers but both have been giving me the run around. As I am writing this review I just got off the phone with a Barbara Gates who had explained to me that I have to wait until January - February to put in the request for me 1 YEAR warranty that they told me I had which to me doesn’t make sense why would I wait till 1 month before my warranty is done just for you to come fix what is obviously the builders fault from the very beginning, as soon as I told her that she went on to raising her tone with me and giving me attitude unfortunately for her I am not the type of person to take disrespect and as soon as I was done yelling back at her she went on ahead to shut the phone in my face. I warned her I would get lawyer involved and it’s a good thing we have family members who are very good lawyers. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING BUILT BY THIS COMPANY"

"They built a house next to us. they have damaged our gutter we kept having to ask to get them fixed it, they’ve stepped on our brand new grass and moved it from its place.. and now one of the contractors hit our fence that was just installed in September and their refusing to fix it! very unprofessional and the contractors at MJC do not care about other homes. Take responsibility for your actions and contractors shame on you for not caring about other home owners. See you in small court claim if the association can’t handle this."
