"Would not recommend. Was recently a guest at an event. Food was ok, which is good because they force you to buy their food because it is owned by Nelson’s. The Bartenders were NOT friendly, in fact snobby and rude would be a better definition. Bathrooms were on a separate floor which was as inconvenient as can be. Also the bathrooms were not labeled at all. So it is a free for all. Men were mistakingly walking in the restrooms as ladies were trying to use them. Not a good experience at all and I will not likely attend another function there and definitely would never rent it for any reason."

"This place was awesome for the wedding reception. It definitely is recommended and would make one heck of a studio apartment as well!!"

"A very pretty room for a small-ish event. The maneuvering from room to room is a little rough and the wifi didn't work. There's also no parking close by. You'll have to walk around the corner or down a dark alley to city parking."

"I am completely disappointed with the Spohn ballroom. It's a beautiful place but their business etiquette leaves much to be desired. In short, they called me the week before our wedding reception to tell us that some items that we had ordered in June (reception was in October) would perhaps not be available in time. We didn't receive our refund for the cleaning hold fee until December and they had subtracted out a stop check fee. They originally sent the check to the wrong address and then charged us for their mistake. I had moved in July but set up a 12-month forwarding service with the post office. All of my other mail has come to my new apartment promptly. For those who are going to make a reservation with this establishment, insist that your refund be sent with tracking so you get your full refund. Or pick it up in person. There are other great places in Goshen for a reception and I would check them out before coming here. Weddings are stressful and dealing with an organized, professional business is the best way to go."
