"This is a privately owned mill open to the public at the owner's discretion. We toured with SPOOM (Society for the Preservation of Old Mills) Oct. 15, 2022 . Owners have worked 40+ years at stabilizing, rebuilding & saving this historic treasure; dedicated to producing hydroelectric power which they provide to the community! Kuddos to them and their family for this preservation!"
"Wonderfully restored Gothic Mill. Very well taken care of. No one was there we went. I would have been nice to see inside. Maybe next time. I would recommend visiting if your in the area. Nice day trip. Lots to see if you like old mills. It's fun seeing Michigan Historical places."
"The mill is a fantastic place to visit! The Stockhausen's have done an amazing job restoring this wonderful piece of Michigan history! You may search it on You Tube and watch a video that they made about it. Tours may be made by appointment and they are well worth it!!!"
