They have many trails from this trail head, so you can chose just how far of a hike you want to do when you get there. Absolutely beautiful."

"We kinda always passed by , always just wanted to go to the road side overlook a few hundred yards away. Then one rainy day we stopped and it was just a magical place. A lot of picturesque vista's (if you are in moderate good shape!). We stayed for about a good 3 hrs .....would have stayed longer if It didn't start to rumble in the distance and the darkness started rolling in....not exactly a great place to get stuck in during a thunder storm! Well enjoy this little "shoreline excursion " ! From the Solis to you, may your adventures be yours!"

"Easy 2-3 mile hike with great overlook of lake Michigan and access to Baldy dune. The trails are well marked and there are maps and waypoints posted throughout. We went after rain and snow melt and the trail for the most part was not overly muddy. Beautiful area. We will be coming back in warmer weather for sure."

"Awesome place. Great view of the Great Lake. Not a long walk like sleeping bear dunes. Calm n serene. Low key place. You can be all alone. Going there before mid-April ? Take a jacket. No access to the water though. Beach is all eroded."
