"Expert captain, excellent deep water fishing technique, fun and helpful 1st mate, really enjoyed ourselves, and we caught nice fish! Captain Jeff and his 1st Mate Dave took 4 of us fishing for salmon in late August '23 on a 6 hour fishing cruise. Half of us had not fished in the great lakes & half had. It was a lot of fun watching Jeff and Dave rig up and drop in all the various deep, shallow, near & far lines using line planers and downriggers to keep them all apart and where they wanted - we were pulling 13 lines! Quite amazing to not get those tangled. The boat was perfectly sized and set up for the crew and us. Jeff takes his role as captain very seriously and we could tell he was focused on a safe and fun voyage while also doing all he could to find and catch fish, which absolutely is not always a guarantee. In all, we caught 9 nice fish, mostly salmon, with each of us getting to reel in 2 keepers and 1 of us got 3 (some of those lines are wwwaaayyyy out there & take some serious reeling). I can't say for sure, but it seemed and looked as if our boat had caught as many or more fish than any others we saw that day. For all the reasons listed at the outset of this review, I would absolutely use SuFishient Charters again and certainly recommend you give them a look if you want to go fishing out of New Holland with a crew that really knows what they're doing. "We had a fantastic fishing trip with Jeff and his first mate, Matt, of SuFISHient Charters today! The boat is clean and comfortable. The ride out to the lake was great while watching the sun come up. Jeff and Matt were quick and efficient in getting multiple lines out into the water and it wasn't long until we had a nice King Salmon on the line. We even doubled up right away! My 7 yr old twins came along and had a great time as well. We ended up with an ice chest full of delicious king salmon, steelhead, and lake trout that Jeff filleted for us. If you are looking for a great charter, go with Jeff! You won't be disappointed."

"Absolutely best charter out there! Jeff was solo, no first mate, he booked us the day prior, and even let us bump up the trip by a half an hour. We caught our limit on trout and salmon before 9am! He definitely knows what he's doing. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable and was willing to share some tricks of the trade. He knows the area very well and put us on fish right away. We caught some big beauties, a whole cooler full. Fantastic day. By the way his wife's cookies were delicious too!"

"Awesome fishing experience, would definitely recommend suFISHient Charters. We enjoyed fresh baked cookies prepared by Jeff's wife while heading out. Jeff and his first mate Mark set out multiple lines and my husband, my dad and I were reeling in Salmon in no time! While tending the lines and netting our fish, they gave us great advice and three new Salmon recipes to try. Before we knew it, we had caught our limit and were heading back in feeling like pros. Back at the dock, Jeff filleted our fish while Mark tended the boat. Jeff and his first mate Mark were fun and professional. We will definitely use them again the next time we are in Holland.
