Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Michigan - Dundee Store

"Walked in and saw an item I wanted to purchase on a clothes rack that was being prepared by staff. The rack was full so I expected it to be brought to the floor in 10-15 mins. I looked around the store for 50 mins and then asked a woman working the sales floor how long she thought it might be or if they had specific times they brought the racks out. “When they are done” was my answer. So I stood and waited for another 30 mins until I felt they were either doing it on purpose or if production time was really that slow. Walked out without the item and drove the 40 mins home. I’ve shopped this GW for quite a while and the women who work here are fairly nice and polite. That being said, I wonder if the response to my question would’ve been as disrespectful had I been someone she didn’t know. Very frustrating. 1 hour and 30 mins for 1 rack of clothing is beyond anyone’s regular work pace. The other GW stores take 10 mins to get a rack on the floor and will often pull the rack or item requested if a customer asks. Not this GW."

"This location has a store and then a donation site right next to it. We made our very 1st visit to the donation site and I was very discouraged. We were dropping off small furniture and clothing and all sorts of great things and the 2 ladies inside were awful. They never opened the door they never even made eye contact they never said thank you they never said Hey do you need a receipt there was just absolutely no help and my husband was trying to get a piece of furniture through the door and they just sat there......WOW REALLY!! If anyone wants a great location to drop your things off for goodwill try the Adrian or tecumseh locations. Anytime we have stopped by those locations the moment they see a vehicle they come out the door with an oversized bin and assist you with anything that you need to drop off your items it is just spectacular it is a smiling face and a great greeting that just makes you feel good about dropping your stuff off to help others. Dundee I would have given you a zero if I could have because that is the effort you gave to your customer."

"I enjoy going here because the items are always changing and as long as you check most of them out thoroughly you can get some decent stuff at a good price. Most of the workers are friendly and helpful."

"Absolutely love the variety in not only clothes, sizes, but also Household items as well at this Goodwill! So much better than I ever anticipated since Dundee is pretty little compared to towns most goodwills are in! I can easily spend 3 to 4 hrs in here looking at just clothes my size but also the variety items as well!"
