Whether you choose to pedal 5 minutes to the nearest beach access or take a short drive to St. Joe's or Warren Dunes, you'll find plenty of activities to keep you entertained.
As a guest at The Nest Lake Michigan, please remember to refrain from bringing glass into the hot tub or pool area and avoid smoking inside the home. "We had the most delightful winter weekend at the Nest. This is our second visit- and this time booked directly through their website (which had a nice discount.) Our new year’s celebration was such a delight- the kitchen is so thoughtfully and thoroughly stocked we pulled off a 4 course meal for 13 with no trouble (just a ton of dishes - lol). The kids loved the hot tub, playing the vintage arcade games, and making forts in the incredible kids room. The adults enjoyed cozy fireside board games. Can’t wait to come back again soon."
"Our stay at the Nest was nothing short of perfection! The grounds of the home are truly gorgeous. Lush forest, shrubs and flowers abound & we loved watching deer and wild turkeys from the windows! We had the pleasure of visiting during fall and the foliage was incredible. Don't miss a hike at the Grand Mere state park, so close! Inside the home, the Nest has curated the most comfortable vacation retreat imaginable. There are abundant high quality, high end furnishings from the kitchen to the bedrooms! We loved the linens and the plush towels, and slept like a dream in the cozy beds. We cooked several meals and never missed one item needed - you could cook a thanksgiving feast for an extended family & have all you need! We traveled with children & toddlers, and I was so grateful to not bring anything except clothes and diapers! Toys for any age? Check. choice of mini crib or pack n play with sheet? check. books for nighttime? check! Bikes for the whole family? ..Yep got those too! Checkin & communication were a breeze, and the massive home is spotlessly clean. We can't wait to come back to this special retreat."
"Our family gathered at The Nest the first week of October. We had such an enjoyable and relaxing time there. This spacious home has a very cozy feel. The impressive outdoor kitchen and fire pit areas were perfect for our cook outs. An added treat to our stay was having Chef Cornelius Jemison prepare and serve a fabulous dinner for us in the beautiful dining area. The Nest is very close to the areas we wanted to explore; Granor Farms, Warren Dunes, St. Joes, Fern Wood Lincoln Township Beach, and Grand Mere State Park. Wonderful!!"
