"Everybody has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The techs are nice and Frank the pharmacist has truly been the best pharmacist I've ever had in my history of getting meds filled. He keeps my meds in stock and orders them if they are low. I was short on cash for my scripts and he still let me get them with my promise that I'd pay them back when I got the money. Now THAT'S what I call caring service. I've only been going there a month and I feel part of the family. They've all treated me with more respect than any other pharmacy I've been to. "First and foremost, if it wasn’t for this pharmacy I would not be able to get a specific type of medication filled. This pharmacy makes their own CBD pain cream compound that not only works, but has helped greatly reduced the amount of chronic pain I suffer from on a daily basis. I have a significant amount of injuries from head to toe and this compound cream alone is literally a miracle worker. I also rub this on my forehead and temples when I am dealing with headaches and migraines. And let me just say, this is the best reliever I have ever used to help alleviate the pain quickly. No amount of pills or medical devices (since 2016) I have been prescribed or bought over the counter, even comes close to what this cream can and continues to do when it comes to quick relief. Whoever took the time to create this product to help people like myself, let me just stop here for a moment and say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You truly are a godsend for your endless dedication and commitment to making a difference in helping many people who are suffering from debilitating forms of chronic pain. Now onto the recognition of the pharmacy staff - Frank is one of the pharmacists I have spoken with in the past and he is one great guy to say the least. He answered all my questions, addressed my concerns, listened to me go on and on about all the wonderful comments I had to say in regards to relief, and he even took the time to personally say thank you and how much he appreciated me for giving him feedback on this compound cream. (You are top notch in my book Frank!) Lexi is the pharmacy technician who is super friendly, kindhearted, and has one great sense of humor. She called me to inquire about some information to ensure my file was up to date and had the correct info. Not only was she understanding and displayed the patience of a saint (because I am physically limited and move quite slow), she listened to everything I had to say because she truly cared. We also shared a few laughs, raved together about how much this cream actually helps in numerous ways, and even paid compliments about Dan the driver. (Lexi you are truly a sweetheart and have a heart of gold.) Dan is only driver that I know of who works for this pharmacy. He goes above and beyond to deliver medications to patients in many surrounding cities and I cannot thank him enough for always being there for me. Dan not only works hard to make sure that every patient is well taken care of and receives their medication(s), but displays the upmost respect, compassion, empathy, and has taken the time to personally share words of hope and encouragement with me. He always calls me ahead of time to let me know how long before his arrival, follows instructions on where to leave/hide your prescriptions if you’re not home, and kindly delivers with a smile on his face. (Dan you are seriously “The Man” in my eyes, a very nice guy, and deserve more credit from patients who don’t appreciate what you do) I have never in my life seen a more amazing team of hard working individuals run a pharmacy quite like this one. Please know, that I personally have nothing but the upmost respect, endless appreciation and massive amounts of gratitude for each and every one of you who play a part here at Great Lakes Pharmacy. From checking to see if a prescription(s) has been received electronically, making sure everything is filled on time, double checking with insurance companies, calling a doctors office on the patients behalf, ensuring everything is running smoothly, fixing & correcting simple mistakes, answering any and all questions or concerns, offering a delivery service to patients, and for always making me feel like I am heard, but most importantly...apart of your pharmacy family.
