"I love Credit Union One for so many reasons. My local branch is staffed with the most knowledgeable, caring, empathetic and most important, they're so willing to work with you on every request. you bring to them. I have seen a couple of negative reviews for Credit Union One, but those negative statements are coming from people that have been refused credit or loans. When I started with Credit Union One, my credit was horrible. However, I was so fortunate to be able to sit down and discuss my situation with one of the managers. She helped me to get into a "secured" credit card. I made sure to charge small amounts every month and then pay the entire balance off each month. We also set up an automatic deposit for a savings account. Within 6 months, my credit score had jumped over 100 points, my bills were getting paid on time, and PAID OFF!! And for the first time in years, I actually had a nice little savings account. What started out as a "little savings account" has turned into 3 different types of high interest savings accounts. I have never experienced a banking facility such as Credit Union One. It's like a hometown bank. I feel like I'm meeting with friends when I need to go into the local branch. I have referred several people to Credit Union One and they are now members. I have never had one bad experience with Credit Union One. I definitely recommend Credit Union One of Michigan!!"
