"Wanted my loan number to know what my mortgage payoff was before the house had even sold. That should have been the red flag! I informed them it would be a mail away closing and they wanted me to sign over power of attorney to my realtor instead. Then they told me I had to hire an attorney because I lived on a private road and the lender wouldn't close without an agreement drawn up by my neighbors to maintain the road. I did some research which indicated it wasn't necessary and told them it was impossible for me to do that. They then said the lender was able to bypass this "requirement". 48 hours before the scheduled closing they still hadn't sent the closing documents for me to look over, have notarized and sent back. Lastly, they failed to have an escrow account for the sewer bill which I am now getting billed for. And they won't call me back. I have tried to be pleasant but they seem unable to handle what should have been a simple closing! This is just my experience with them. Good luck to you"
