"Everything is really good until you get sick and file an insurance claim to make the payments for you. My husband had a stroke and filed a claim. They got $400 in payments and still tried to withdraw a payment from my account! Then told us it was OUR responsibility to tell them to stop the auto withdrawal! Why should a sick customer have to tell them to stop payments that insurance is paying already? Then after we told them to stop auto withdrawal, they did it again.they did it again! We are negative in our account and get an overdraft fee every time they do this. Now, instead of just reversing the payments, they are sending a check through snail mail so my account is sitting negative until the check arrives!! How is that fair? I wouldn't advise you get loans through this company unless you know for a fact you will not get sick or injured b4 it's paid off because you will not be able to rest, you will have to fight every step of the way."

"As far as the company is concerned, I have no issue with them. Getting a loan was relatively easy, and everything was explained and there have been no surprises. However, I do have an issue with one of the employees in particular at this branch. Their name is Paige, and this person is apparently transphobic. This person was disrespectful to me and my family. I am a transgender woman. When I was in the office getting my loan, I could see it in her face that she did not approve of my existence, which made me very uncomfortable. All of my paperwork says that I am female, and my drivers license says that I am female. When I recently had some financial hardships and was a few weeks late on my payment, Paige called my mother, and would only refer to me has he or him, completely disregarding the fact that she knows I identify female. If you are a member of the LGBTQ community, or an ally, or just someone who believes that people should be respected regardless of personal differences, I would recommend that you take your business elsewhere. I give this company 2 stars instead of one, because if not for this one individual, my experience thus far has been positive, and if not for Paige, I would have given 5 stars easily. If I receive an apology, I would be happy to change this review."

"Hundreds of unwanted calls every month. Mail with promises of consolidation of your loan just to be told, yes you have a loan but your not good enough after paying on it for 3 years for us to help you lower your payments. Websight trys to trick you into autopay when you login. Be careful with these guys its a high interest money trap."

"This was my 4th loan with one main and will be my last due to how my financial concern was handled. The woman who set me up couldn't use my current email address so we settled for my old one that was already in their system. I used their website to make my monthly payment. It withdrew twice and so when I noticed my account was very low I called this branch so they could fix it. I spoke with Liz who needed my bank statement for a refund I explained to her that the money is meant for a different bill so I needed it put to my account right away. She said as soon as my bank emails or faxes she'll take care of it. So I talked with my bank who wsw going to charge me 2$ fee but said she was sorry I was having such a hassle from one main she'll waive the fee. I went to work and when I came home I noticed the money still wasn't returned so I emailed the branch my disappointed and concern about the bill. The next morning I called the branch and spoke with Linda who didn't apologize for my issue but instead stated well didn't you getting 2 confirmations trigger it would be taken out twice and when I told her I had an old email because the lady who set me up couldn't use my current she said well there's a 1800 number you can call to fix that. She also stated she couldn't refund my money any other way but a paper check in the mail which will take 5-7 business days and suggested I call that place to hold my bill. A whole lot of hassle and messing with my money and zero customer service. So no more loans with One Main"
