"DO NOT RENT FROM SILVERSIDE MANAGEMENT!!! The roads in the Woodside Drive complex continue to be an issue. There has been a yearly rent increase ever since Silverside has managed the properties. The rent increases yet there is no maintenance! The roads in the complex are barely drivable (some public services have refused to enter the properties, i.e. Your Ride) with all the humongous potholes, many times the trash bins are not emptied, the streets are not cleared of snow and the walkways and driveways are rarely cleared of snow/ ice. One of the two sump pumps is located in my storage area. Saturday was the FOURTH time THIS WEEK it quit working and I could get NO RESPONSE FROM MAINTENANCE! Each time I called I was told some would get back with me. It is now Monday and I still haven’t heard from Silverside!!! Each time the basement flooded, I was left the mess to clean up! Below is a view from my window. AGAIN! DON’T RENT FROM SILVERSIDE!"

"I am a current resident at one of the many complex's they own, they're just basically slum runners, seriously don't expect a quality apartment if you rent from these people. And management sucks very unhelpful and never offer resolutions to issue pertaining to basically anything. My bestfriend also lives at one of their complex's as well and she's been without heat this entire winter. I cannot express this enough don't rent from anywhere these people manage."

"I moved to plymouth gardens 10/23 and although william tries it's been a disaster with anyone else. within a week fridge broke then in summer they keep up grass but bush and trees on everyone's patio need to be cut back. Winter time pure disaster 10 days into a snow and lot still hasn't been plowed as of 1/24/24. spent days inquiring they don't return phone calls! I am a RN have to leave at 330am and lot is so icy. and move in problems they didn't have apt cleaned professionally the mai tenancy person william did it, there answer to fix huge scratch in wood floor was to cover it with a rug yea no it's in the kitchen. The apt definitely had not been painted again william tries to fix it after 3x i gave up i still have patches of wrong color all over various areas of apt. To sum it up plymouth gardens needs a new management company!!!!"

"I am a current resident at the Emerald Apartments on 13 Mile and John R. I would not recommend to live here as the leasing manager, Justina Dunavan, does not take anything serious. Mind you—I’ve only been living here three months as this is my first apartment, and she has absolutely made this the worst experience for me thus far. There’s a gigantic hole in the kitchen cabinet from the last tenant. She did not mention this damage to me until the day of my walkthrough and told me that the new cabinet would only take about two months since it was on a back order. Two months have past and gone, still no cabinet. She then said one of the maintenance men would come by to see if they can fix it, that was nearly a month ago and no one has came. I have also been told prior that I can’t fix the cabinet, can’t have anyone else fix the cabinet, and can’t be compensated or get a deduction on my rent for this issue. I’m just told to keep waiting while NOTHING is being done! DO NOT LIVE HERE! She is NOT a good leasing manager, she’s a LIAR and she WILL screw you over. I have also called corporate twice, left a voicemail each time and no one has called me back regarding this ongoing issue. I will not be renewing my lease next year. Horrible place to live. Also—maintenance will use your toilet while you’re not home and leave their urine on your toilet seat, it’s happened to me twice now. Wouldn’t recommend this place to the richest person on Earth. Do not live here."

"We lived in our apartment for two years while our house was being built. Silverside was amazing to work with, they exceeded all expectations surrounding maintenance, solving issues and working with us while extending our lease due to construction timeline. If a light burned out, they replaced it within days. If we had a leak, they visited the site immediately. Our personal contact, Matt, did an awesome job and took good care of us! Great experience and appreciate their hospitality!"
