Absopure Water Company

"If I could give them a zero stars, I would. Horrible customer service. They told me they would be at my house yesterday between 8:00am-5:00pm to deliver our new unit. Not only did they not show up, they didn't even call to say they would not make it. I waited around all day for them. They called me this morning to reschedule. I asked what happened yesterday and they said they ran out of water. I told her I wasn't waiting on water. I was getting a new unit delivered. She seemed very annoyed. I told her to cancel our service. I am done with this horrible company."

"Absolutely horrible customer service. Completely undependable and unhelpful. Absopure missed yet another water delivery on Wednesday, February 7. Because they had messed up so consistently in the past I actually called on Tuesday to make sure everything was on track and was assured that it was. Yet, no one showed up to deliver on Wednesday as promised and I didn’t get any word as to why. I called to find out what happened and they acknowledged that they missed the delivery, but did not know why. I was assured that quality control, the delivery driver and management would call me and I have left messages for quality control and management. Nobody has called me back yet and likewise no one has told me when I might get my next water delivery and they are very particular about what days they will deliver to one areas. They have yet to get one single “routine” delivery right, and “management” seems to be completely absent. I just want to know I’m going to have water."

"I recently signed up for water delivery service through Costco, which is apparently provided through Absopure Water Company in the Metro Detroit/Ann Arbor area. Thus far, the company has failed twice to honor its commitment to deliver and set up the service. I initially had an appointment scheduled for last week Thursday, and the delivery driver never showed up or called to notify that they were not going to make it. The next day a sales representative contacted me and said that the delivery was rescheduled for this week (today). I moved things around and made arrangements to be home all day today (they unfortunately can't provide a more accurate time window than 8am-5pm, which is ridiculous in and of itself). I even called earlier this morning to confirm that I was indeed on the schedule for today, and the person I spoke to confirmed that was the case and said that I would get a call approximately one hour prior to the delivery. 6:00pm rolls around, and still no courtesy call and no delivery. I called and spoke to someone who told me that the driver "ran out of time" and that the delivery was again rescheduled to next Monday (Feb 12). So, now I have to rearrange my schedule a THIRD time. You would think missed deliveries would be given priority, but that is seemingly not the case. I'm not sure if this experience is the result of bad management, staffing shortages, or both, but this is definitely not the right way to start off a customer relationship. I will give Absopure one more attempt to make this right, and then will otherwise be cancelling my service and also contacting Costco Member Services to suggest that they consider a different vendor to partner with in this area. Totally unprofessional and unfortunate."

"Review edit: After working directly with Cara, my delivery was finally made today. Everyone has been incredibly nice and apologetic. I did encounter more bumps in the process than originally hoped for, but everyone customer service has been great. (Once you can get through) I signed up for water delivery almost a month ago at Costco. We were so excited to finally have water in bulk instead of having to purchase water bottles. For the past 3 weeks delivery has never arrived on the day it says it going to. I have spent countless days sitting at home waiting for a delivery. I received a single voicemail from an unknown number that said they missed me on delivery. Yet no one ever even knocked on my door. I am beyond frustrated, I have called at minimum 20 times today and only 2 of those calls have actually gone through. Every person who has assured me they would call back with details has ghosted me. Very disappointing."

"Two stars because Tamika was great at taking my order, and I believe made a sincere effort to accommodate. The company, however, is staffed mostly by people who do not care. I had made a large purchase for an event. The first scheduled delivery was for one week before the event. However, no delivery was made, nor was I contacted to inform me that the delivery would not arrive. The same thing happened on the second scheduled delivery and on the third scheduled delivery. On the day of my event, although I had many other things to do, I called to inquire about picking up the order myself. The receptionist said it was fine and sent me to the warehouse to pick up the order. I asked her to make sure they had it ready for me. When I arrived, of course they had no idea that I was coming. I was told to wait while they brought the order over from another building. After waiting I was told that they only had 20% of my order was available, even though previous calls indicated that my order was on their trucks. Now suddenly they only have 48 single serving bottles for my 250 guests. Alante tried to make it right by offering up plastic bottles instead of the glass that I had ordered for my elegant event. Well, I appreciate his effort, but it makes me cry to think of putting all of that plastic into a landfill."
