"We loved having our son attend CCLC. The owner is a great person as are her staff. We especially loved the assistant director and the toddler room teacher."

"I am thankful for the loving and professional teachers at CCLC who helped our family as I went back to work after having a baby. I was reluctant to leave my precious 6 month old girl with anyone other than a family member, but I soon learned that she was being cuddled and loved, talked to, and even sung to (in addition to being kept safe and stimulated). My daughter is now 2 1/2, and throughout our time at CCLC, teachers have gone out of their way to care for her as an individual. As a baby, she was fed and napped on demand, not on an arbitrary schedule. One teacher goes out of her way to give my daughter wagon rides, because she knows she loves them. CCLC's outdoor play spaces are large and grassy, with well-maintained and age-appropriate equipment. Teachers make an effort to take all the children outside to play as often as possible. Communication with parents is thoughtful and includes both formal and informal information: weekly emails and twice-annual teacher conferences, as well as daily chart notes and in-person communication. Parent feedback, in my experience, has always been welcome. My husband and I would recommend CCLC to anyone looking for a nurturing place for their children."

"In response to Sarah's comments, we do employ some very nice and quality employees. In fact, the majority of them have been with us between four and thirteen years. We currently have just one staff member that has been here for less than a year. We work hard to accommodate each staff member's needs, including yours. We provide opportunities for children to experience new environments in order to maintain adult/child ratios, usually when a staff member or his/her family is sick. We are very family oriented. We have an open door policy so parents can visit their children anytime. Working with infants and toddlers is considered to be a privilege; it saddens me that you feel you were "shoved into a corner" when given this opportunity. As a team, we provide a safe, sanitary environments through daily care and cleaning. We would occasionally ask staff to restore the classrooms after the carpets and floors were professionally cleaned. This was a paid opportunity, not a required expectation. It is unfortunate, Sarah, that you didn't bring up your concerns during your exit interview when you moved over a year ago. If you would still like to discuss your thoughts, please contact us. As always, we wish you and your growing family the very best in your future endeavors"

"I've been blessed to be a part of the CCLC family since 2006. I'm able to share my experience from both an employee and parent perspective. I've served various roles at the center including assistant teacher, lead teacher and currently Assistant Director. Both of my children have attended CCLC. My oldest child is now in elementary school and his teacher reports he's thriving both socially and academically. His teacher and I believe this is largely contributed to the education and care he received at CCLC. My youngest son is in the preschool class at CCLC and can't wait to get to school every morning to see what his teacher has planned. The teachers take pride in creating environments and experiences for the children that spark imagination and creativity. They also take time to form a relationship with each child to better help them grow. I chose to bring my children to the center with me so they could experience the love, attention and opportunities offered by our teaching team. I can't say enough about how this place and all the people in it have blessed myself and my family throughout the years. Many of the teachers have been teaching here for years including myself. We would not choose to stay in a place that doesn't treat their employees or families with the highest respect and appreciation. This is not just a job for me, it's an extension of my family. It is our honor at CCLC to create a welcoming family environment for all that enter our doors."

"My children were very well cared for and learned a lot during their time at CCLC. It was great to have reliable, loving care for my children with people I could trust. My youngest just started kindgergarten, and she is thriving with the great start she got during her 4 years at CCLC, which included age 1 on up. We loved the Butterfly room when she was 1, the teachers genuinely loved my children and they were well cared for each day. We also had a good experience with preschool. The Young 5's program was excellent and Ms. B is an excellent teacher. It was a lot of fun for her, and she is more than ready for kindergarten. She was able to write all her letters, count up to 40 consistently, and learn some sight words, all while getting to spend lots of time outside playing as well. As a mom, some of my favorite logistical offerings at CCLC were also: ability to order hot lunch through Saline Area Schools, Pizza Wednesdays, the taekwondo offering where they took my child to and from, monthly parents night out, and the giant playground for the kids to play. Thanks CCLC!"
