I actually changed the chain and rear gear cassette on my own bike. In class, you bring your bike and work on it. I highly recommend these classes for everyone interested in knowing how to repair their bicycles."

"The first time I ever went to D&D I was looking for a single bike-specific bolt that you wouldn’t find in a hardware store. I assumed my only option would be to buy a $70 kit that included a bunch of stuff I didn’t need just to get this 5-cent bolt. Not surprisingly, they don’t sell this item by itself but I was shocked when an employee just went to the repair area and handed me the bolt I needed for free. You won’t get that kind of service on Amazon. This became my bike shop after that and I’ve been back many times. Dan is a great mechanic, very knowledgeable and a really nice guy."

"Brought my old Giant Roam in because it was making a creaking sound. I asked them to fix that and let me know if it needed anything else. It’s a great bike, but I use it hard and often. D & D knocked it out of the park! It is literally like new except for the cracked paint, of course. It is so clean and fine tuned, I think I’ll get a cover for it so it doesn’t get dirty when I put it back on the bike rack. The last hardcore overhaul of this bike was about 5 years ago, cost more, and was not as thorough. Everyone was super nice, and they called me to discuss what was going on with the bike and what I wanted them to do. When I asked for an opinion on my other bike (an old Raleigh M80 mountain bike), they gave me an honest opinion that it was good as is, but could use a little tuneup, recommending I wait until off-season if I wanted it done."

"Long history of working with this store. A range of prices for many if not all pocket books. They have stood by their warranties-3 years after purchase. I have brought in my son’s bike when something was off (after much hard use) and they have done all repairs the way they said they would. Getting ready to buy our next bike, very happy with their service."
