"Nice park. Clean and well kept. Unfortunately, toilets were not open (it was 8pm, about 1 hr before sunset). Other than that, a beautiful place to enjoy and relax."

"Very nice roadside park. Easy access to the park via a small parking area on the East side of Long Lake Drive. Just south of the parking area is a short drive giving access to a boat launch. Non-motorized boats only. The park is very pretty with access along the lake for viewing or fishing. There are lots of picnic tables, a play area for the kids, a covered shelter, and an indoor restroom. Great area for walks... clean and secluded. We visited on a Sunday around noon, and it wasn't busy at all. Just a few families. But it was also the fall season. Beautiful spot."

"The water was great and it felt refreshing to swim in a clean freshwater lake like this one. There's multiple places you can park at with multiple beaches, public restrooms, and a playground for kids. There were no leeches or large bugs in the water. But there is a lot of plant life and birds around the park. Was pleasant and enjoyable."

"This is a review for the boat launching area and the lake itself rather than the park facilities (which I didn't use). The boat launching area is actually not on Krauskopf Rd, which is the official park address, but on the opposite side of the lake on Long Lake Rd, south of the playground area. It's not well marked, so you have to know where to look. The boat launch is for non motorized boats only, and it's perfect for kayaks. The bottom is sandy, so it's very easy to put in there, but it's not muddy, so it didn't feel gross. It was also clean with no broken glass or trash, so I wasn't afraid to go barefoot. There is ample shade and parking, as well. I do recommend using a bug repellant, because mosquitoes are very active on shore. As for the lake itself, bugs were not a problem while I was out on the water, and, because no motorized boats are allowed, it's very peaceful with calm water. It's also pretty shallow, maybe 10 - 15 feet in most places, so the water gets warmer faster here than a lot of the other lakes in the area. I would also recommend this lake for paddle boarders because of the calm water. The only reason I deducted a star is because of the MANY mosquitoes on land."
