"A very nice place to go walk on trails with good variation in topography. I would warn people to wear shoes you aren't afraid to get muddy as the trails do get a bit mushy in the spring and when the ground isn't frozen. It is a pretty popular park so it gets a bit busy in the afternoon. Most people keep their dogs on leashes and pick up after them so the park is pretty clean. Lots of signs posted up on the trails as well so you almost always know where you are if you are new."

"Super fun spot for a dog walk. I cant wait to come back in the snow. Though definitely want to wear good traction shoes since there are many slopes and slippery places. The highway is right next door and makes it a little noisy but I would still come back here and enjoy this place many more times"

"Went on a nice relaxing 2 mile hike today. Never been here before, but it was really cool. Just stay on the trail, there is poison ivy everywhere."

"Wow, what a hidden gem! I’d never have expected to find a 76 acre preserve at the end of a street in hudsonville. Parts of the stairs are falling apart/rotting so be careful, but the boardwalk is wide and long. There is also poison ivy along the trail at parts, but the map gives fair warning and you can avoid it by staying on the trails. Between the meadow, ravine, river, and woods, this is a great spot to hike, run, or (if you’re feeling really adventurous) mountain bike. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!"

"Some of the trail maps don’t have a “you are here” sticker or arrow so you might want to use a compass or map on your phone if you’re not familiar with the trails. Great scenic overlook areas. There are some uneven stairways and some steep walkways without handrails but a beautiful heavily wooded hiking area. Porta-potty at New Holland street entrance parking area."
