"This a great winery to visit. The staff is very nice and the tasting samples are ver good. Definitely a place to stop by when doing wine tasting."
"We had a really great experience at Modales wines. The staff was extremely friendly, we were greeted once we walked in and learned about all the tasting options (guided tasting, pre-selected flights and wine by glass/bottle) and where we could comfortably enjoy our wines. There’s is also a small snack menu available, if you want some cheese/salami to pair with wines. We were very impressed with a big riesling selection and sampled a few. They were very good. I also samples sauvignon blanc and a sparkling wine - both excellent. If you aren’t sure what to try, the staff would come to the rescue. The vineyard is beautiful. Lots of trees to sit in the shade to sample wines."
"Wow we only found this place because we followed directions to another winery. What a perfect place to find. It is classy, hip and has the most tasteful wines. I loved both the whites and the reds. The tasting room expert was warm and welcoming. We also enjoyed talking to the production manager. Be sure to add this to your wine adventures in Michigan. We watched the rainstorms move in while in the greenhouse like sunroom. 5 stars all the way around!!!"
"Delicious dry, sweet wines and snacks. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive - but also don't rush you. The views are beautiful with lots of natural light and earthy/pretty decor. Plenty of inside/outside seating. Definitely a must stop. We were so content, almost didn't want to leave for our next destination."
"We had an amazing time visiting Modales Wines! We got an amazing tour from Caleb, who was extensively knowledgeable about wines and the process from start to finish! Jamel & Caleb were present at our tasting and showcased a wide range of wines. The customer service was amazing, the space exceptionally beautiful (even in the snow) and I can't wait to visit again in the spring."
