"What an amazing place to catch a sunrise! I was lucky enough to replace all the windows and doors for the community building there on site. While we there working, a lot of folks came to catch a sunrise. If I lived closer I would take full advantage of the services of this park. Come check it out!!! Enjoy"

"In the 80's of the last century this was a consistent hotspot for big fat perch through the ice. By the 90s the perch population crashed in the lake due, in large measure, to the non-native invasive alewife. And now, even the ice has forsaken us."

"Beautiful park...right on the lake. Very long dock goes out over lake, with many benches to relax & take in the gorgeous scenery. Many people fishing off shore & the dock. Even though there were lots of people didn't feel crowded at all. Nice playground & splash pad. The restrooms were very clean."

"Beautiful park, great place to take kids. It costs $5 for a day pass as this is a private park and is not covered under the Michigan recreation pass. Splash pad, multiple playgrounds, basketball court, volleyball court, swings, restrooms, boat launch, walking path and board walk."

"I love the newly added wildflowers. They are so beautiful. There is like a pathway that goes down the middle of the wildfire and it almost feels like a secret pathway to the water only for you... as long as it isn't crowded or anything. Nothing can kill your fantasy of being alone on the planet quite like seeing or hearing a group of people. Sunrise is always the best time."
