"Took two pieces of furniture in for painting. Told that during the cleaning process they damaged two large areas of veneer. Was told they would patch and repair, but the finished product was a very bad patch job. I explain to the owner that it was not acceptable. She asked if I could come by to their store on Tuesday, 2/22, to speak with the painter. But each time I reach out to the owner to ask what time I should be at their store, because it was not a day the store was open, I received no response. I had paid additional money to have the store deliver my pieces on 2/22, but nothing - no call from the store to reschedule. Then, as I am typing this review, the owners calls and asked where I was? Stating that I never showed up for my appointment to see the painter. Was I supposed to come by and stand outside at a closed business…waiting for some working in the back to “sense I was outside?” I had also taken a chair in to be reupholstered on a weekend - was told they would get back with me early next week with a price. Two weeks later - nothing. Beware! Terrible service. Rude. And complete disregard to your furniture during custom work. I’ll add photos when i finally get my furniture back. And I almost forgot! When I went in to write up and pay for order - on the day I told them I’d be by, I was told the owner was busy in the back and she’d be with me. After an hour, and the owner finishing what she was doing in the back, helping another customer that came in after being, giving her employee instruction on some work, I interrupted her and asked if she could please take care of my order. She rudely said I needed to make an appointment, if I didn’t want to wait. One hour of waiting to spend nearly $1k."
