"It's a decently sized, open park conveniently located across the street from a local grocery store and ice cream parlor to easily stock up on summer favorites for planned or impromptu barebue ideas. If you have any hobby aircraft, RC trucks, or need a nice open space to launch fireworks, this is a great park to use. There's plenty of parking space for a large gathering of family and friends, and the area itself is pretty quiet/lowkey. There's usually at least 1 portapotty here, which I thought was pretty convenient considering most of the parks I've been to don't have places to use the restroom unless they're major parks (think Belle Isle in Detroit). There is also a covered area with a few picnic tables."
"The park is nice. Could use some clean-up, but mostly, it's nature's litter. Lots of sticks and branches everywhere be very careful."
