"We visited during our trip to Michigan and it was worth to visit! they have a lot of science’s shows and exhibits for all kids ages"
"This is such a wonderful place to come with older children. Weekends are a bit busy. If your kids can read then they can do a self-guided tour and you don't have to really explain as much. If they are younger they can still see a lot of the hands-on demonstrations and will have a great time! Also, many of the exhibits have stools for small children to stand on and be involved. That was much appreciated! On a side note: Things have been so divided politically and it seems around every corner a political opinion is getting shoved down your throat. I did not get any of that at the Michigan science center. I don't know if I just missed it or something, but I was able to just relax and my kids were just able to learn about the principles of physics rather than being steered toward an agenda. I appreciate that so incredibly much. Parking is YIKES. We drove around and around the DIA and could not find a spot. We finally ended up directly across Woodward on the street."
"The museum has so much potential. I wish I knew what was going on. Over the past year I've visited at least 3x and each time so many of the exhibits are closed. This is odd. I get the feeling they're just running out of money. Over the years it seems like the only new exhibit happens in one room on the top floor. Overall the space is big and has many eye catching exhibits, although many of these feel dated and have not been updated since the mid nineties. It's a nice place to visit, however I feel like Flint & Ann Arbor have better exhibits. I am hoping the situation improves."
"Our first time there and the kids loved it. The admission is affiliated with an annual membership at Cranbrook so it costed us nothing. The venue is huge and, fortunately, we did not have enough time to check out everything. I say fortunately because that only means we'll be going back there again soon."
"Our eldest daughter participated in the 1st lego competition and our 2 younger daughters had a great time in between activities. Fun for all ages."
