Situated between 14 Mile and Maple Roads, this park offers a wide range of recreational activities for visitors of all ages. The park underwent improvements in 2021 and will continue to be upgraded until 2025. One of the major upgrades includes the construction of a new playground, set to begin in early August and expected to be completed within 6 weeks. The new playground will be located on the open green space northeast of the current playground. Visitors can still enjoy the old playground until the new one is ready, after which it will be removed. With its ongoing improvements and variety of amenities, Drake Sports Park is a must-visit destination for outdoor enthusiasts in the area.

"Nice skatepark. Clean. There should be age rules though. A parent was there with several kids under 8/9 and not paying attention to them whatsoever. Bench and phone was the parent's deal. It's very concerning and inconsiderate to ignore her young children who put themselves into harms way of a rider."

"Great area, a friend and I went for the first time to check out the skate park. Due to the incoming rain it was only us which was fine, the skate park is very beginner friendly with enough ramps, rails and ledges for more experienced and advanced skaters. Though I can't say much about the actual park, it did look very nice with the restrooms in a clear easy to access (with wheelchair and other disability access as well) area. Will definitely be returning in the near future, this is a definite recommendation as it has tennis courts a skate park, hiking trail and pavilion/playgrounds."
