Burhop Collision

"My visit to Burhop Collision(Belleville MI), particularly dealing with Sam, the owner, was a distressing ordeal. The repairs on my girlfriend's car were incomplete and I pointed out how. He began insisting to weasel out of it by building on "its all your girlfriends fault for not buying a new grill" after already stating we wouldn't need one . He didn't install a part in the backseat relating to the bottom of the mudguard on the car which fell off, and missing bumper clips (even though that's what we paid the shop to do). If a job couldn't be completed properly though, why do it and not notify the customer? I pointed out its not about the grill though its about the part sitting on the backseat and a hand-full of clips that I know should have been replaced because I took them out to begin with. His excuse additionally was that he offered to do the grill and hence its our fault once again. Fun fact those pieces don't interact with each other in the slightest. Upon requesting the car back, having already paid and no longer wanting additional work done being untrusting of the shop at this point. Sam's demeanor turned hostile due to me having a problem with the work preformed on the car, thus not wanting to get more work done through the shop. i.e (incomplete work ,yelling, exerting threatening behavior, etc.). I then asked if I could get a refund one time for those reasons. Then he not only held the car hostage by recklessly driving the car to the back at high speeds so we could not see what he was going to do to it, but insisted we would have to call the cops. We did in fact have to call the cops due to him being threatening ,holding our car hostage doing whatever the hell he did to it in the back of the property, also screaming at us constantly no matter what we tried to say when walking in to get the car back. To top the cherry, resorted to insults and sly remarks after the cop took our side and Sam was forced to give us our car which we still already paid for at that point. His aggressive behavior, inability to complete the work billed to me, coupled with holding our car ransom until police intervention, left us feeling utterly disrespected and vulnerable. It's evident that customer satisfaction and quality work is not a concern at Bishop's Collision. I strongly caution against entrusting your vehicle to this establishment. Will be contacting Better Business Bureau , Attorney General. Run away as fast as you can from this fresh hell!"

"When a business operation is performed so well, 1 or 2 small but confusing issues can hurt a little. I brought my only 4 month old 23 Ford Bronco into Burhop collision to repair some door damage. The shop did an excellent repair job. But my truck was delivered like this (pictured) I wanted to write a lot more of the shops pros and cons, But Google only allows so much here to type. I still gave them five stars cuz all I wanted was my truck back repaired like new, which they did. Still, come on guys only takes a minute or so to hose it down lol"
