My Nail Spa - Grand River

"Went there with my friend intending to get a fill. They informed me i should get a brand new set so I went along with the worker. A man came over to “remove” my acrylics and managed to remove half of my real nail resulting in pain and blood. He couldn’t remove the rest of my nail without ripping the rest of and then proceeded to rip another of my nails so i didn’t want him to touch my nails anymore. I was in pain and my friend was talking to me and he rolled his eyes every time she spoke to me even after he ripped my nail off. Another lady came to remove my nails and ended up giving me the tool to do it myself. If i wanted to do my nails myself I wouldn’t be coming to a nail place. I am very disappointed with this experience because all that was done was them glueing my nails together and putting a fresh nail over it. I got no discount and ended up having to pay 85 plus tip for my nail getting ripped off. I liked my end result but the experience was horrible. no one should go to get their nails done and leave in pain and bleeding and not be given an apology and discount."

"Been here a couple times, the last time I went the lady did a half job with my pedicure because I just wanted basic. She knicked 2x while doing my dip manicure which wasn't a manicure like I asked for, I had to ask for her to clean up my cuticles. Still was charged the same price. Will not be back now. Too many other options to be treated like that."

"I got acrylic with gel and for spending 100 it was only okay. They didn’t go to the edge of my nail and didn’t push back my cuticles. If you want something quick and easy this is a great place but if you care about what your nails for the money you pay, find a better place"

"Love this nail salon! I’ve been to many different places in the area and my nails would never last. I see Chanel regularly now and she does an amazing job. I’ve had to see a few other nails techs at times when I book last minute and the other two ladies I’ve had both did just as nice of a job! I highly recommend this place!"

"I had a traditional manicure and pedicure. The experience itself was fine, the nail person wasn’t great at the massage part, but that can be hit or miss and often subjective. My biggest issue is the polish itself, I had a wedding on Friday, so had my nails done Wednesday morning…..it started chipping the very next day and by Friday, my nails looked awful. I wasn’t doing anything rough with my hands either, just normal daily hand washing and one shower. Won’t be back."
