"Surprise surprise! Your tooth fell apart while we were working on it! This is not something that should be said to a patient. Surprise surprise? Really? They replaced the crown the nurse was telling the Dr. what to do. At following appointment I explained that there was pressure in the root like it was cracked. They wanted to do an X-ray. Since I was leaving for out of town I said no thank you I am going out of town for an extended time. They said well it’s only your teeth it’s not like you need them to chew! How condescending! A better phrase would have been; When you are ready please let us know. I have found a new, kind understanding Dentist."
